Danielle is Co-Founder and General Partner of 1517 Fund, a venture capital firm backing founders at the earliest stages of their careers and companies. In particular, 1517 focuses on investing in teams led by dropouts, deep-tech scientists, and founders working outside of tracked institutions. Prior to 1517, Danielle founded and directed her own charter school and helped to lead the design and operations of the Thiel Fellowship from its founding in 2010.
