Francis Suarez is the Mayor of Miami. He has recently gained recognition for being the most tech-friendly mayor on Twitter, successfully recruiting many companies, investors, and entrepreneurs to move to Miami. Mayor Suarez was elected with 86 percent support from Miami residents in 2017. He was previously the Miami Commissioner for District 4 for eight years. Mayor Suarez also serves as Chair of the Environment Committee, as well as on the Advisory Board of the U.S. Conference of Mayors. He will serve as President of the U.S. Conference of Mayors in 2022 as a result of having been elected by his fellow mayors.
